For some reason the number 13 has been good to me. This is another example. SUPERJOINT RITUAL'S new album " A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred" has 13 brutal and raw tracks to destroy any bit of normality and sanity the world has left to offer. Personally, i think this is the soundtrack for the coming apocalypse. There is no heightened level of warning for the aggression and sheer violence that this album may induce.
Within these 13 songs you will find comfort in blasphemy, extermination, drug addiction, a calling to arms for a heathen war and other items that go so nicely laced in with the media induced vomit that we deal with everyday. I must admit when i first popped this CD in, i was a little leary to these unknown new songs. I was versed in last years debut album, "Use Once And Destroy." But i got to see SJR on the last day of their tour from that album, which was one week or so after he new album came out. I experienced such pain, violence, aggression, and pit love at that show. I was set on fire!!!!! The new songs off of "A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred," began to take new meaning. The words were like truths revealing themselves to me. Combined together, it was becoming a new entity unto my life. Inspired by the SJR chaos, i drew and had done a tattoo for the new album. Does this tell you the power?
There is a new minute and a half video out for the 2nd song named, "Waiting For The Turning Point." It's a live style clip complete with raw and brutal moshing!!!! If i had to pick out two of my favorite songs at this moment they would be "Personal Insult," and "Stealing a Page Or Two From Armed And Radical Pagans." They are the anti-songs for my hatred!!!! There is a heathen war ahead and it all was started with this band!!! As Phil Anselmo says.."I believe this band right here deserves your utmost respect!" That is no shit. Pick up this new release that is unclassifiable genre wise. It just is SJR. Take control of your life! Hail Satan!!
