When I first received this package from OF INFINITY, I had noticed that "powerful female fronted melodic metal" was printed everywhere. How quickly I was to inconceivably judge and consider the music weak and something not of my interest, before I even had given it a spin in the CD player. I was wrong and am glad to say so. OF INFINITY is a 4 piece
extraordinaire from San Antonio, Texas. After hearing this delightful treasure I still want to debate and believe they are from overseas where music of this extremely high caliber is typically from.
Let's back up to what their fact sheet says......
- Of Infinity was a semi-finalist in the 2004 Zippo Hot Tour competition where they made it in the top 20 bands in Texas. ("which makes me wonder what kind of music the other 19 bands were and why the hell
these guys were not number one, or were the judges afraid to take a chance on a band that is female fronted and strong in instrumentation and not afraid to give 150% of their soul and power to their craft" - quote

- The band is happy to announce that B.C Rich has added them to their website as a local Texas band playing B.C Rich brand guitars. ( "they say play... no way these guys play their instruments. Of Infinity is of
the highest craftsmanship and to say they play their guitars is almost an insult. It is obvious these guys have involved in music since they were old enough to "play", but has since toiled over their skills and

- In May, Of Infinity celebrated 5 years together as a band. They have every intention to have many more of these celebrations. (with the intensity, strength, and as tight as this band is, I see this as no

- Of Infinity has been asked to do music for two independent films.
- Airplay has been gained by the band in several states as well as online stations, and they continue to gain more as time goes on. ( with a decent fan base and their drive there is no reason that by the end of
2005 that Of Infinity should not be a household name. Lets all jump on this band wagon and help these guys out!!!!)
- The band has ranked #33 in North America in their genre of metal on mp3.com. It has also consistently held the top 2 spots in the metal genre for the state of Utah when they resided there.
The sound crafted from OF INFINITY is intense and precise with an interwoven mix of goth, doom, and melodic metal. They have been compared to such foreign metal giants as Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Leaves Eyes, and
Evanescence. The angelic voice of Alessandra Zinicola is one of a familiar, yet unique sound. She brings beauty, romance, tears, and power to OF INFINITY. Without her the band would still be able to hold it's own but why would any unseeable force on earth or in the heavens dare to try to break such a powerful collective force. I would also like to point out that Alessandra also plays the piano and the synths which bring a strong
background of ethereal presence to this band. Uniquely named guitarist, Nazareth Sando, strongly wields a guitar as a god would carry on his commands with his scepter. It has been hard for me to not picture his
majestic presence high atop the highest mountain calling out to his fellow musicians, bringing unity to OF INFINITY. Forming the cloud of beats from which this band rides proudly atop is drummer, Carlos Teller.
With the combined domination of master bassist, Kurtis Kyllo these two fellows lay the stable ground work from which this mighty orchestra builds from. There is no words noble enough to speak of this band as I
truly wish I was gifted enough to do. My mind still tells me that this music is not for me as I love to see people get mowed down by blast beats drum techniques and see wild fist pounding to thrashing guitars. Yet
my body still is driven by the power from OF INFINITY. My soul tells me this music makes me complete as a music collector and lover. Face it, OF INIFINITY is a band for everyone and cannot be denied. It's a
pleasure to see that music has reached a new level of transformation, almost a completeness. But just to be human, I'd like to leave room open for improvement...... even though it may not be possible or at least an easy task to tower over OF INFINITY.
