WARNING!!! :
MINISTRYs RIO GRANDE BLOOD will make you take notice of your surrounding world.
You will listen, ponder, feel, and perhaps learn like the humans we truly are.
Stand up and fight!!!! "Can you count suck ass? The future is ours!!!"
- Not for the faint of heart or those who are willing to get screwed over for
the rest of their lives
Stepping up to the pulpit, once again, armed with the heaviest artillery to
date, is the MINISTRY front man, known to many as, Al "Grandpa" Jourgensen. Al
is leading the world back to common sense and freedom with his new tour de
force, "RIO GRANDE BLOOD." He's been painstakingly preparing for what seems to
be WWIII. He has taken his band, Ministry, far from the grasps of the
corporation ran record labels, and formed a new label named, "13th Planet
Records," from which he will run the rest of his projects like, Revolting Cocks
and Buck Satan. Following the release of the highly anti-political RIO GRANDE
BLOOD, will be a major tour, with Ministry and Revolting Cocks, named The
MastabaTouR. Ministry's impressive new line up consists of Killing Joke bassist
Paul Raven, Slipknot's drum octopus Joey Jordison, bassist John Bechdel and
guitarist Tommy Victor of Prong fame, and Ministry vet's Mike Scaccia( guitar),
and of course the musically multi-faceted Al, doing whatever he desires!!!!
As the pain and destruction continues in the United States, under the
leadershi(t) of the two time loser Bush family, Ministry keeps demanding for
open eyes and ears to the atrocities going on in the world. RIO GRANDE BLOOD is
a straight to the jugular, heavy as fuck, industrial metal war cry. Continuing
the tradition, Ministry heavily leads the fury with many powerful , and
sometimes humorous samples, involving everything from the lies of the World
Trade disaster, fascism, Bin Laden, corruption, the incessant fecal fumbling
lies of George "the human trash" Bush, and hell we'll even have them throw in
some oil issues to boot.
Joey Jordison beats out the heart slamming battle drums projecting the sense of
emergency that Ministry is demanding on this album. Riding on top of the surface
of the drum sound is the perfect thrash barrage of guitars from Mike Scaccia and
Tommy Victor. Love them guitars!!! A simple shot of mainlined stringed
anticipation and fury. Finishing out the style and yet continuing to shake your
insides straight to the bone are the bass blasting of John.
RIO GRANDE BLOOD is officially ten tracks rich on this musical journey to
freedom, but as we all see in our news and other media, nothing is what it
seems. The dangerously perfect track, "Senor Peligro, hits down like a Slayer
anthem. Politically motivated Jello Biafra slanders our countries fearless
leader in the track, Ass Clown. "Great Satan" obtained a justifiable Grammy
nomination for best metal performance. RIO GRANDE BLOOD will surely gain a
Grammy and bring even more notoriety and heat on the current events at hand. Now
with this said and you've made it this far in the review, get off your ass and
get this album and take your life and rights back. No one else will do it for
you. End the tyranny of the Ass Clown!!
