Getting shit in the mail you don’t expect is always something I look foward to. I love it when labels just send shit for me to look into. I had not only never heard of this label, but also none of the bands they sent. This album is really not metal, rather just bruising hard rock. This is completely personal and I know it is, so don’t go looking for it on your own, but this makes me think of the first time I heard SAIGON KICK--it’s got a hard tone with a lot of aggression, but not overdone. It also has just that lick of punk bleeding through it.
It also has pieces of Metal Blade’s band 40-GRIT as well. It’s just so nasty and rough and so godamn punk. I think this is a masterpiece album here. I won’t call it something that most of the metal population is going to get into, but being a guy who grew up on a mixture of SLAYER/RAMONES/glam metal, this is a great album.
Did I mention the hot chick with devil horns on the front did not hurt at all? Check it out if you dare. Wes loves it!
