Do you remember the first time you saw a dead body? I do. It was the weirdest thing in the world to me, because it absolutely did not faze me for about three days. I was just like la di fuckin da. Then I broke down and cried like a lunatic bitch on the edge of loosing her mind. Then I chilled out and ate some cheetos.

How is this relevant to a DISSECTION disc? Well, for some reason, this band has a very large amount of aura. I have always considered them like bigger than words, and sadly, and quite frankly, idiotically, I think it has to do with the whole "murder thing." I would hate to think that has any effect on how I feel about this band. However, I think it does.

DISSECTION only left us with a couple treats before they abruptly ended, due to the whole "murder thing," and I have listened to "The Somberlain" and "Storm Of The Lights Bane" so many times I have to sneak up on my CD player to get it into the player because it’s sick of playing them. Back to the point here. Hearing this band live, I am telling you right now, was just religious. Unfortunately, I mean live on disc. See, I have never really seen them, but this disc is something special!

The aura they carry is alive and well and carries itself proudly from the opening TAK, TAK, TAK! of the snare counting into "Storm Of The Lights Bane," and it is simply flawless evil from there on! The sound quality is superb and the Wacken crowd is very accepting of the DISSECTION performance, probably clapping in fear they might get killed. Remember the "murder thing"?
