When I first placed "Domine Non Es Dignus" into my CD player, I expected pure sonic evil. I was right. This band is even extreme for Black Metal. The assault begins from Track 1 and holds you fast and brutal all the  way through. This ear popping mosh through all things unholy and vile has restored my faith in the sickest of the sick. These guys put in mind, musically speaking, of old Hellhammer, with a scathing, guitar driven sound and vocals that sounds like a madman who just busted out of the mental ward and is proclaiming his psychosis to the world. What sets Anaal Nathrakh apart from most other bands of this nature is that, even though their sound is fast, furious and insane, it still makes perfect sense, with every note clear and precise. Fans of total grind, beware...
