I seen a post from someone on the Heavycore.org message board about this band. As I am about metal, I checked these shock metal veterans named VIRGIN SIN. Here is midwestmetal's first interaction with these guys. We will see where they end up in our future!!! They
apparently have held their own in Sweden for 20 years.
S&M, satanic symbols, metal/shockrock, and a 20 year reign of terror, what has impowered you all these years?
I have always had a clear view of what I always had a clear view of what I want to do and even when there
has been a lot of narrow minded Mother Fuckers putting me down or just calling
me crazy. It never affected me. I will prevail!!!! The members in the band are
just as sick as I am, and it shows on stage for sure…world domination ahead!!!!!
The band Impaler, who also seems to fit into the shockrock genre, has also been around for 20 years.....has your paths ever crossed? If not why not and would you like to change that?
Bill Lindsey is a good friend of mine!!! I love him like a
brother!!! Impaler is a great band and I would love to work with them sometime
in the future...
What other shock rock acts have you played with?
There is no other shock rock bands around where we live...
You have 2 great heavy as hell mp3 tracks on your website, virginsin.net. The tracks you currently have are "Sane Inside Insanity" and "Skinned Alive." Why did you choose these smoking tracks to represent Virgin Sin?
Those two songs are "typical" Virgin Sin songs. I love them and
they kick major ass for sure!!!
A few of my favorite parts of the band is the thrashy guitars and the vocals. Do a lot of people seem to respond to those band members
a lot and if so what do they say? We have a great following, really cool people. One night after one
of our shows two blonde babes walked up to me and told me that they liked the
taste of our stage blood, I told them there was some left in a small coffin we
have on stage, they said that they wanted some and I poured the blood all over
them and they started to lick the blood off each other, it was a great night for
sure!!!!
I noticed a taste of Children of Bodom on the guitars, is that an common statement people make? Children of Bodom seem to be a heavy influence that most of the band carries.
People always hear different things in our music. Quite a lot
think we sound a bit like Judas Priest combined with thrash metal vocals. We
call our music shock metal!!!!!!
Vincent Price is you favorite movie actor, would you explain why and list a few of you most favorite Vincent Price movies?
I love
horror movies and l like all of the old actors like Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi
and so on. However, Vincent Price is my favorite, he just seems to put a smile
on my face every time I watch one of his movies. I really like "Masque of the
Red Death" as well as "The Haunted Palace"... But I think they are all great!!!!
What do you or have you included in you S&M acts on stage with you band? Please be specific, because
metal heads love brutal sex and violence!!!!!!
We are working on it as we speak. Wait and see!!!! Most of it has
been backstage, Ha! Ha!
Is it hard to coordinate your stage show with the music you play on stage?
We are pretty well rehearsed, but sure sometimes we fuck up just
like everybody else...
Your favorite actress is the very hot, Jennifer Tilly. How would you "tie" her into the show if you could?
I would save her for later and "tie” her down in my bed instead,
Ha! Ha!
Ever practice any hardcore blood letting on stage?
There is always tons of blood splattered all around after a Virgin
Sin stage show. As a matter of fact, last time we played in our home town, we
got banned for life afterwards. The club owner was in total shock!!!
My friend Morbid Mark who owns and runs Fey Victus magazine has a thing for wanting to love females with a cross, have you ever wanted or have done this act of ultimate blasphemy?
No, but it reminds me of a witch I used to know some years ago.
She liked to fuck on the graves at the cemetery; she also loved the taste of
blood!!!! How do I know? Well....
Are you a member of Heavycore, the International Brotherhood of Heavy Bands? If yes, what inspired you to be a member and how has the site helped you? If not, will you check into it.

Any future plans to tour and when you do are you looking for places to book you, bands to play with and where should these metalers contact you at to be a part of the Virgin Sin tour?
We have great plans for 2004, I would love to tour around the

One of you t-shirt designs has a graphic from "Cannibal Holocaust" the movie, what inspired the use of the graphic and how does it tie in with Virgin Sin?
As we are all into horror and splatter movies it was a natural
choice to have something like that for a t-shirt design. It gets noticed quite a
lot, that’s great!!!!
Jack Daniels is your favorite drink, do you recommend that people buy you drinks when you perform?
Not during the show….It would be too dangerous to be wasted on our
stage during a show. There are too many things going on. Afterwards I might buy
you a drink if you are a wicked looking female!!!!!!
What are your plans for the new year of 2004?
To record an album, to tour and to sell a lot of merchandise!!!!
